Artists
MI-KO (Michiko Fujita) – English Handbell Artist
A professional English handbell soloist based in Japan.
MI-KO is one of the few musicians in the world dedicated to establishing handbells as a solo concert instrument.
Her artistry has received international recognition through awards including:
- Debussy International Music Competition Gold Prize
- Virtuoso International Music Award Gold Prize
- American International Music Competition 2nd Prize
She also develops educational and performance handbells through her company, Kanade Music Planning.
Koki Tajiri – Pianist & Composer
Pianist, composer, and music educator based in Japan.
Known for his delicate yet powerful musical expression, he performs widely as both a soloist and collaborative artist.
His original composition “Allegro Grandioso” was adopted as a Yamaha piano grade examination piece and remains an official repertoire work today.
